Smooth Controlled Strokes in Photoshop

Download this great Photoshop plugin here:
http://people.happycoders.org/kamih/lazynezumi

It really makes Photoshop feel like a controlled pinstriping tool.

Note the control of the offset lines in the pommel sketches below.
Very impressive functionality for cleaning up rough lines in Photoshop

Studio Side Project: Movable Walls

We have a fluid workplace where major projects and presentations constantly change what  needs to be presented or hidden. Any thoughts on how to create movable sketch walls and displays?

Zbrush for Industrial Design

Zbrush is a very interesting product for designing sculpted products.
In my experience it does not replace CAD modellers like Alias, Rhino and Solidworks but creates a nice transition from sketching to 3d. It is not like you dont need to sketch though- but this provides a relatively fluid way to concept different ideas.

Rhino 5.0

I have been trying out the Rhino 5.0 trial while my installation discs are in transit.
This is a release where you can really feel the influence of the architects in the Rhino user base. The new functionality has a strong Sketchup feeling- which is really cool- Kudos to McNeel and Associates. Solid editing with control points is a really fresh take on the modelling process. This feels like a home run release for them.
Test project monkeying around with the new tools.

The handles/frames are rendered curves
Edge softening is really cool- although it would have been cool as a shader level toggle.

To their credit the interface has only gone through a slight refresh. Tabs have been added and functionality is chunked together- which is great for new users.
